Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RunBlock mobile application (the "App"), provided by Cassandra Studios EOOD ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LEULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms and the LEULA conflict, the LEULA governs your license to use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
2. What the App does
RunBlock lets you block apps you choose and earn time to unblock them by completing workouts. With your permission, the App reads your workout data from Apple Health to credit earned minutes, and uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time frameworks to block and unblock the apps you select. All of this runs on your device.
You control what you lock. App restrictions are self-imposed by you on your own device for your personal focus and wellbeing. The App is intended for an individual managing their own device; it is not a parental-control or mobile-device-management product and must not be used to manage another adult's device without their knowledge and consent.
3. Health data
The App reads workout data from Apple Health only to calculate your earned minutes, on-device. We do not receive or store this data. To prevent cheating, manually entered workouts do not earn minutes. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App lawfully and not to attempt to circumvent, tamper with, or reverse-engineer its earning, ledger, or locking mechanisms, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law. You are responsible for configuring the App in a way that is appropriate for you, including not locking apps you may need for safety or emergencies.
5. Subscriptions (RunBlock Pro)
The App is free to download. RunBlock Pro, which enables earning minutes from your workouts, is available as an optional auto-renewable subscription or as a one-time Lifetime purchase.
- Plans and pricing: Monthly: $6.99 per month; Annual: $39.99 per year; Lifetime: $79.99 one-time purchase (a non-consumable; it is not a subscription and does not auto-renew). Both auto-renewable plans (Monthly and Annual) include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; the Lifetime purchase has no trial. Prices are shown in the App before you purchase and may vary by region and over time; local currency and taxes apply.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Free trial: If you begin a free trial and do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price above. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renew, at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
- Restoring: Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your devices via "Restore Purchases."
- Refunds: Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.
6. No guarantee of results
The App relies on your device's hardware, Apple Health, the Screen Time frameworks, and iOS. Blocking, earning, syncing, and unblocking can be affected by factors outside our control, including iOS behavior, permission changes, delays in Health data syncing from third-party devices, low storage or battery, or hardware limits. We do not guarantee that apps will always be blocked or unblocked exactly as configured, or that every workout will be credited. The App is a motivational tool and should not be relied upon to restrict access to apps needed for safety.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data or missed access, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
